Who is Chuck Roy?

Chuck Roy is a happy-go-lucky Bear. His joyful, approach to comedy shows pairs well with a beer and a burger!

Raised in the great State of New Hampshire, Chuck got his start in Boston’s super-funny stand-up comedy scene. Enjoy notes and influences from his peers including Dane Cook, Bill Burr and Patrice O’Neal. At the Boston Music Awards, Chuck earned distinction by filling in for Aerosmith.

During a brief stint in Los Angeles, his gig warming up the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn helped Chuck perfect his ability to host a comedy show. The gig included an opportunity to introduce musical acts including The Dead, Snoop Dogg, Green Day and the Scorpions.

Now in Denver, the Bear transitioned from hosting movies at Red Rocks Amphitheater to teaching Comedy at the Community College of Denver. A teacher nerd, Chuck is active on committees, delivers workshops at conferences, develops curriculum and designs courses themed around arts entrepreneurship and comedy arts.
